CoordiCare Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 22, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the CoordiCare mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”). By creating an account or using CoordiCare, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use CoordiCare. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Description of Service
CoordiCare is a care coordination platform that allows families to manage caregiving responsibilities in one shared space. Features include shared medication tracking, appointment scheduling, health journaling, task assignment, document storage, and care circle management. The App may collect personal health information including date of birth, and in future versions, allergies and chronic conditions.
CoordiCare is a productivity and coordination tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without their consent.
4. Care Circle and Shared Data
When you create a care circle and invite others, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization to share information about any care recipient. By adding health or personal information about another individual, you represent that you have that person’s consent or legal authority to do so.
Each adult member you invite to your care circle has their own account and controls their own personal health data. Permissions for what is shared within a care circle are set by each individual member.
5. Third-Party Integrations
CoordiCare integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Google Drive, Firebase, Resend, and TimeZoneDB. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use CoordiCare to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
- Interfere with the operation or security of the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Share another person’s private health information without their consent
7. Beta Testing
CoordiCare is currently in beta. During the beta period, the App is provided free of charge in exchange for your feedback and participation. Features may change, and the App may experience downtime, bugs, or data issues. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue to improve.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time during the beta period without notice.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of CoordiCare — including but not limited to the App design, text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by CoordiCare and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the App. By uploading content, you grant CoordiCare a limited license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
CoordiCare is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any information within the App.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoordiCare and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which during the beta period is zero).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoordiCare and its team members from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the App. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of CoordiCare after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
